The number of children playing:

Optional, but no more than 30 (in case of more players, it makes sense to make two smaller groups).

Equipment:

The game can be played outdoors or indoors. When playing the game outdoors, make sure the ground is grass or sand. The event space is designed by the group itself to make a circle.

No accessories needed.

The story »behind the game«

Instructions / rules:

  • We choose a detective among the players. The detective must leave the room as soon as he is selected. If we play it outdoors, then make sure the detective does not see or hear the arrangements of the others.
  • We then identify the killer among others. The killer stays in the circle with the rest of the players.
  • When the killer is identified, we call the detective.
  • The detective is placed in the middle of the circle and it is explained to him that there is a killer among the players. His job is to find out who the killer is as soon as possible. Only observation is allowed.
  • The killer’s job is that while the detective is trying to identify him, the killer must kill the other players by blinking unnoticed (eye contact is important).
  • When the assassin murders someone with a glance, the dead man falls to the ground.
  • When the detective finds the killer, the game is over.

Rules:

  • The detective must only observe the other players.
  • The detective does not leave the middle of the circle.
  • Other players do not help the detective with his work.

Hint:

The game is even more interesting when players die very dramatically.
